To Patent Or Not To Patent

The mayority of the people that find out I'm into inventions ask me, "Do you have/need a patent for that?" The mayority of patents that people apply or have current patents on, never make it to the market. Did you know that? The whole patent process could cost an individual from $5,000 to $15,000. Quite a sum. Now if your invention item or design, etc., doesn't sell, that is a waste of your time and especially money. Now I'm not saying that you shouldn't patent the product you invented. What I would like for you to understand is that you should make sure that your item is feasible. Make sure you do your homework. Make sure that product is wanted or desired by the consumer. This is very time consuming, I know, but it will pay off later. There are patent attorneys that can provide professional service to you to help you patent your product. But remember it can be costly.
