The Thomas Register

 What is the Thomas Register? First of all, I love it! I am a personal big fan of the Thomas Register. It is one of the best known directories of information on all business categories.  For example if you want to just check it out. Do this: Go to http://www.thomasregister.com/.  Let's say you are looking for a company/manufacturer in your state (preferable, because it will be cheaper for you to find someone close to your residing place. Remember you don't want to be spending money to get on a place to meet with these people. Although, the time could come where you might have to do just that. Especially if your "prospective" buyer wants to meet with you. If he/she is interested in meeting you that is good. Now, back to the Thomas Register. Let's say you invented a new type of ink pen. Just type in the words: ink pens. Then pick the state you are desiring to search. Bam! Like Emeril says. (By the way, I met Emeril, he's the real deal and he gave me two autographed mitts.) I just thought I'd throw that in.  You will notice a whole list of companies that make ink pens or have something to do with ink pens. I actually typed in Illinois so I haven't checked for every state, so I'm just going to use Illinois as an example. Why don't you take a second to check it out now, just so you could familiarize yourself with it. The register will provide other info about the companies you are searching for too.
