Displaying Your Invention At A Trade Show

One great way to get your invention seen is at a Trade Show. If you go online you could find out where trade shows are taking place, how much it will cost you to set up, etc. There are trade shows for so many types of products. Cosmetics, auto, textile, etc. Many buyers show up at trade shows just to check out new inventions, items and things they would love to have placed on shelves of their stores. Remember, they have the power to do that. They can actually place your product on those shelves. Imagine one buyer coming to your table at the trade show and saying, "Hey, I really like this shangamawang. I want to order 10,000 of these! Then another buyer comes around and says the same thing, but orders 20,000. Oh, happy day for you, huh?
Trade shows also give you the opportunity to see what is out there. They can get your creative juices going. It is fun to see new items!
A hint from the experts: Make sure your product is protected before displaying it at a trade show. By having your patent protection in place you can detract others from stealing your idea. Just check with your patent attorney ahead of time.

For more information on this, I recommend you read The Everything Inventions & Patents Book" by Barbara Russell Pitts  & Mary Russell Sarao.  You can find the book if you order it on Amazon.
