How The Inventing Process Works Part 2

Many people have invented things by accident like I've already mentioned. Some people dream up an invention. Literally. I would like to have more of that experience. Some people are more intuitive than others.  You can train your mind to create, to think creativity, to invent.  It is done of purpose. Find a comfortable chair and a good time to think creatively. You can train your brain to develop this skill. Now there are certain limitations. Yet I know a designer/interior decorator, (whose mother that is not even in the design business) created the most beautiful end table for his company . It sells quite well.  I actually went to him with one of my designs, The Pleno Pillow.  Now my Pleno Pillow is still not in the market. But I'm still looking for a company that will embrace it. This designer actually told me to continue pursuing it. It didn't really go with his line. I'll be sharing about how to know where to find the right fit for your idea in the future. What to do when a company/manufacturer, business, etc. doesn't want/need your invention, idea, concepts. Encouragement is another topic I'll be talking about further. (Notice how I write "talking" instead of writing). I like to write like I talk so I think you understand.

So it is common for a person that is not even an expert in a field to develop and create a product for a company. I think that's wonderful.  Because I think the mind has more room to grow. Remember, me telling you about not putting your mind in a box? Start inventing on purpose. It is done on purpose. The mind needs to be at ease to create. Well, it helps. Keep inventing!
