Funding Your Invention
An invention could cost you plenty, but if you play your cards right, you could keep your costs down to a minimum. You really need to understand that it is not just about coming up with a good idea. There are other steps you need to take. Even when you meet with a prospective buyer, etc., you will need to incur in some expenses for travel, if the company is out of town, lodging, food, gas and other expenses. Even your prototype, depending on what it is you invented could cost you. However, all your expense and trouble could pay off. So take it slow. Don't give up and don't let that stop you. Plan accordingly. So you need to find out how you are going to get the money to take it forward.
