Puerto Rico Awaits Me

So my sister that lives in Michigan decided that she wanted to have her wedding in Puerto Rico. Isn't that called a destination wedding? The whole family is going to the wedding. And yes, me too! It will be on Saturday, the 12th. It's pretty cold here up north (Illinois) where I live so I'm more than glad to use any excuse to get outta here! Besides my parents live in Puerto Rico, up in the mountains where it is always beautiful. Puerto Rico here I come. But my poor honey bunch is going to be alone for most of Valentines's Day. That's the day I return to Chicago. We've been married for 24 years. I'll make it up to him. He didn't want to go on this trip. "Who wants to go to Puerto Rico for only the weekend?" He said.  "I do", I whispered. "I'll take Puerto Rico anytime." What are your plans for Valentine's Day? Treat that person in your life well, with respect, with dignity.
