If you have a patent that is wonderful. Now let's hope that someone out there wants your invention. Remember, just because you have a patent on your invention, that doesn't mean it is going to sell.
But the advantage of having your patent indicates that you are ready to show your invention knowing that it is protected legally.
Now you are ready to speak to a manufacturer (if you are planning to license it for royalties).
The next question here is, Do you know how to do this?
I truly suggest that you read, The Everything Inventions and Patent Book, by Barbara Russell Pitts and Mary Russell Sarao.
They will teach you in their book (they are sisters) how to do a written presentation to show to the prospective manufacturer.
Remember, don't rush to get your product through the door of just any manufacturer. You'll need to match your item (invention) with the manufacturer, the right manufacturer or company that could provide the best outcome and benefit for you. Don't stop, get that thing going!
