We all need to get our inspiration from someplace or something. I get really inspired when I travel to different locations. One time in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I abandoned the ladies I was traveling with and went out roaming the "neighborhood." When I returned to the hotel room, my friend with a startled look in her eyes said, "Rebecca, where were you?" "Well, I was checking out this magnificent place, it's beautiful out there, I was looking at the wonderful architecture of this one beautiful but abandoned building. It seems like it was once a very opulent place." I responded. She just didn't understand. I guess that this is how I get inspired. I've noticed this same attitude about a lot of things in my daughter. I like that.
Don't apologize for being inquisitive about something or things in general. Your inspiration could come by these means. I think it's great, it's just plain fun. I love to see things in a different light. So many of us do. It's only natural.
Learn what color and what color make another color, for example. It's o'kay to decorate by using metals and wood in the same room or place. Oh, we could go on and on. Be inventive! Where do you get your inspiration?
