Read, Read, Read As Much As You Can

It is suitable for you to read as much as you can if you are into invention. This is not something you learn in school. Remember, anyone can be an inventor. Any one can invent. The more you know about the industry, the better. I think I've read every book there is out there about invention. I still read as much as I can to brush up and learn. You can become very informed as to what steps to take during your pursuit. If you are trying to place your product in the market you do need to become very informed. Don't rush into doing things you are not experted in because you could get ripped off. Several years ago, when I presented my first invention. I went to a manufacturer in Chicago and was actually able to sign a contract. This gentleman held my product hostage for 2 full years. He did not pay me upfront for doing this. (I didn't even know I could charge him up to $2,000 dollars for doing that). In the meantime he said he was going to try to find a buyer for me. The 2 years were due and I in return got nothing. I am talking about my Pleno Pillow. He did tell me that he loved the concept and the design. My product is still not on the market.
